The All Whites — OFC’s Champions Make Their Third World Cup Appearance

New Zealand make their third FIFA World Cup appearance — and first since their legendary unbeaten run at South Africa 2010. Drawn into Group G alongside Belgium, Egypt, and Iran, the All Whites play on the West Coast of North America across Los Angeles and Vancouver. Veteran striker Chris Wood, fresh off another prolific Premier League season, leads the attack alongside captain Clayton Lewis and goalkeeper Oliver Sail as New Zealand dare to dream of a historic knockout stage berth.

GROUP G INFO

About Group G

New Zealand make their third World Cup appearance — and their most eagerly anticipated, drawn alongside Belgium, Egypt, and Iran in Group G. All three matches are on the West Coast, with the opener against Iran at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles followed by back-to-back games at BC Place in Vancouver against Egypt and Belgium. The All Whites carry the remarkable legacy of South Africa 2010, where they became the only unbeaten team in the tournament — drawing all three group games against Slovakia, Italy, and Paraguay — yet still failed to advance. History could finally change here. Veteran striker Chris Wood is the danger man, supported by creative midfielder Clayton Lewis and the commanding goalkeeper Oliver Sail. Coach Darren Bazeley has built a resilient, well-organised side that will be determined to go one further than 2010 and reach the knockout rounds for the very first time.
